Candlelight Vigil at Venice Canals for Sarah Alden, June 13, 2024

Sarah Alden was taken off life support on May 24, 2024. She was brutally assaulted and raped at night while walking in the Venice Canals. The suspect is now facing murder charges after her death. The second victim in these brutal attacks was Mary Klein who was at the vigil to speak and pay tribute. The song "So Many Roads" by The Grateful Dead was played in Alden's honor during the vigil.
