Alex Datig: DHS Secy Alejandro Mayorkas is a Cover-Up Artist and Should Be Disqualified from Handling Sex-Trafficked Youth

Summary: When DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was an assistant U.S. Attorney, his intention was not just prosecution, it was promotion. Mayorkas wanted power and credit for other people’s work and made sure he drowned out those who helped him carve out his path up the political ladder to becoming an Obama appointee on immigration, and to now heading the Department of Homeland Security. In his early years, witness intimidation and fear mongering were some of his most effective tools for his advancement. Does that make him qualified to handle small migrant minor children who are being trafficked and smuggled across the border, abandoned in the desert, left to fend for themselves? A historical account of a case prosecuted by Mayorkas in the early 1990’s shows his lack of ethics and tells a different story.
