NBC4 L.A. Streets Of Shame Series: L.A. City Controller Concerned, Not One Unit Built To Date With $2.1 Billion Prop. HHH Bond Money Allocated For 10,000 Units
There is a building at 421 North Avenue 19, Los Angeles, an eyesore next to the Gold Line tracks (before the train crosses the Los Angeles River going in the direction of Union Station) which has been abandoned by I-don't-know-who that looks to me like a perfect structure to convert to housing for the homeless. I have written about this before, but never received any comment regarding my observation/recommendation. It would be nice if someone working to help eliminate the homeless situation in Los Angeles would look at this building and evaluate its reason for being there, window shattered, and obviously empty.
