The Hill: CNN 'uncomfortable' with apparent leaks to Clinton campaign, cuts ties with Brazile
By Jessie Hellmann, Oct. 31, 2016, The Hill
CNN is "completely uncomfortable" with a former contributor's relationship with the Hillary Clinton campaign and has cut ties with Donna Brazile, a network spokesman said Monday. "On October 14th, CNN accepted Donna Brazile’s resignation as a CNN contributor," the network said in a statement.
"CNN never gave Brazile access to any questions, prep material, attendee list, background information or meetings in advance of a town hall or debate," the statement continued. "We are completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor."

Zero Hedge: 650,000 Emails Found On Anthony Weiner's Laptop; DOJ Blocked Foundation Probe
By Tyler Durden, Oct. 30, 2016, Zero Hedge
Yesterday, we reported that the FBI has found "tens of thousands of emails" belonging to Huma Adein on Anthony Weiner's computer, raising questions how practical it is that any conclusive finding will be available or made by the FBI in the few days left before the elections
Now, according to the WSJ, it appears that Federal agents are preparing to scour roughly 650,000 emails that, as we reported moments ago were discovered weeks ago on the laptop of Anthony Weiner, to see how many relate to a prior probe of Hillary Clinton’s email use, as metadata on the device suggests there may be thousands sent to or from the private server that the Democratic nominee used while she was secretary of state, according to people familiar with the matter.
As the WSJ adds, the review will take weeks at a minimum to determine whether those messages are work-related emails between Huma Abedin, a close Clinton aide and the estranged wife of Mr. Weiner, and State Department officials; how many are duplicates of emails already reviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation; and whether they include either classified information or important new evidence in the Clinton email probe, which FBI officials call “Midyear.”

Yahoo News Exclusive: FBI still does not have warrant to review new Abedin emails linked to Clinton probe
By Michael Isikoff, Oct. 29, 2016, Yahoo News
When FBI Director James Comey wrote his bombshell letter to Congress on Friday about newly discovered emails that were potentially “pertinent” to the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, agents had not been able to review any of the material, because the bureau had not yet gotten a search warrant to read them, three government officials who have been briefed on the probe told Yahoo News.
At the time Comey wrote the letter, “he had no idea what was in the content of the emails,” one of the officials said, referring to recently discovered emails that were found on the laptop of disgraced ex-Rep. Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Weiner is under investigation for allegedly sending illicit text messages to a 15-year-old girl.
As of Saturday night, the FBI was still in talks with the Justice Department about obtaining a warrant that would allow agency officials to read any of the newly discovered Abedin emails, and therefore was still in the dark about whether they include any classified material that the bureau has not already seen.

Chicago Tribune: Democrats should ask Clinton to step aside
By John Kass, Oct. 29, 2016, Chicago Tribune
Has America become so numb by the decades of lies and cynicism oozing from Clinton Inc. that it could elect Hillary Clinton as president, even after Friday's FBI announcement that it had reopened an investigation of her emails while secretary of state?
We'll find out soon enough.
It's obvious the American political system is breaking down. It's been crumbling for some time now, and the establishment elite know it and they're properly frightened. Donald Trump, the vulgarian at their gates, is a symptom, not a cause. Hillary Clinton and husband Bill are both cause and effect.
FBI director James Comey's announcement about the renewed Clinton email investigation is the bombshell in the presidential campaign. That he announced this so close to Election Day should tell every thinking person that what the FBI is looking at is extremely serious.
This can't be about pervert Anthony Weiner and his reported desire for a teenage girl. But it can be about the laptop of Weiner's wife, Clinton aide Huma Abedin, and emails between her and Hillary. It comes after the FBI investigation in which Comey concluded Clinton had lied and been "reckless" with national secrets, but said he could not recommend prosecution.
So what should the Democrats do now?
If ruling Democrats hold themselves to the high moral standards they impose on the people they govern, they would follow a simple process:
They would demand that Mrs. Clinton step down, immediately, and let her vice presidential nominee, Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, stand in her place.
Democrats should say, honestly, that with a new criminal investigation going on into events around her home-brew email server from the time she was secretary of state, having Clinton anywhere near the White House is just not a good idea.
Since Oct. 7, WikiLeaks has released 35,000 emails hacked from Clinton campaign boss John Podesta. Now WikiLeaks, no longer a neutral player but an active anti-Clinton agency, plans to release another 15,000 emails.
What if she is elected? Think of a nation suffering a bad economy and continuing chaos in the Middle East, and now also facing a criminal investigation of a president. Add to that congressional investigations and a public vision of Clinton as a Nixonian figure wandering the halls, wringing her hands.
The best thing would be for Democrats to ask her to step down now.

New poll: 34 percent 'less likely' to vote for Clinton after new email revelations
By Fox News, Oct. 30, 2016
A poll released Sunday shows more than 30 percent of likely voters say they are less inclined to support Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton after the FBI announced Friday the agency is reviewing newly-discovered emails potentially related to Clinton's tenure as secretary of state.
The ABC/Washington Post tracking poll was conducted from Tuesday to Friday, which means the survey’s 1,781 respondents could only be asked on the final day about the revelations regarding the new emails.
Still, the poll found 34 percent of the respondents were “less likely” to vote for Clinton and that she now leads Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump by just a single percentage point, 46-to-45 percent, in a four-way White House race, with Election Day on Nov. 8.
The other two candidates are Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein, who, respectively, got 4 percent and 2 percent of the vote.

Huffington Post: FBI Director Losing Control Of Department, Nailed With Two Major Complaints For Partisan Memo
By Grant Stern, Oct. 30, 2016, The Huffington Post
FBI Director James Comey ‘Crossed the Rubicon’ this week when he cast his dice with the Republican party by releasing a partisan memo with election implications.
He’s facing an internal revolt over the affair at the FBI, for undoing decades of non-partisan law enforcement practices.
Two serious criminal complaints have already been levied against the FBI Director by the Democratic Coalition Against Trump for using the FBI to engage in partisan activity and now by former White House Ethics Counsel Richard Painter too.
Sources inside the FBI told Newsweek’s Kurt Eichenwald that they were furious with Director Comey’s rare public revelations from the Clinton investigation from the start this summer.
They’re not the only ones upset.
High ranking Department of Justice officials strongly discouraged Comey from going public just 11 days before a general election, without holding a smoking gun or really any strong evidence of anyone’s wrongdoing in hand.
The FBI Director broke policy to inform Congress about details of an investigation without any actual details, which is already being used for partisan purposes.
Director Comey followed up his first memo to Congress with a “cover your ass” memo to his fellow FBI officers which appeared in The Washington Post.
The impact within the FBI has been swift after the first memo.

CNN: Justice Department, Abedin lawyers in talks to permit email search
By Evan Perez, Oct. 30, 2016, CNN
(CNN)The Justice Department and the FBI are in discussions with lawyers for Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin to secure approval that would allow the FBI to conduct a full search of her newly discovered emails, sources familiar with the discussions told CNN.
Authorities have not yet sought a search warrant for the emails, law enforcement sources told CNN. Government lawyers hope to secure a search warrant to permit investigators to review thousands of emails on a computer Abedin shared with her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner, officials said.
The new search warrant is needed because the existing authorization, covered by a subpoena, related only to the ongoing investigation of Weiner, who is accused of having sexually explicit communications with an underage girl.

Dayton Daily News: Truckload Of Manure Dumped Outside Warren County Democratic Headquarters
By Dayton Daily News, Oct. 29, 2016
LEBANON — A truckload of manure was dumped this morning outside the Warren County Democratic Party headquarters.
The same thing happened in 2012, but this time, the building has a security camera that recorded someone dumping the mountain of manure just after midnight, Bethe Goldenfield, chairwoman of the Warren County Democratic Party told our media partner WCPO-TV in Cincinnati.
Rachel Harvey Katz, regional press secretary for Democrat Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, told WCPO that a volunteer found the manure pile outside the door to the building, 1975 U.S. 42.

Flashback: The Washington Post: FBI director rejects idea of reopening Clinton probe
FBI Director James B. Comey on Wednesday rejected the idea that the bureau would reopen its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state — laying to rest a long-shot hope of Republican legislators who have questioned the government’s handling of the case.
At a hearing of the House Judiciary Committee, Republican congressmen again peppered Comey with questions about how he came to the conclusion that Clinton should not be charged in connection with her server use. As he has at other hearings, Comey did not bend from his earlier decision.
“Since you announced that there would be no prosecution of Secretary Clinton in July, there have been several very material issues that are troubling, and would those not require a reopening of the investigation to solve those issues?” Rep. James F. Sensenbrenner Jr. (R-Wis.) asked.
“I haven’t seen anything that would come near to that kind of situation,” Comey responded.

ABC News/AP: Police Investigate Vandalizing of Trump's Hollywood Star
![]() |
AP |
Los Angeles police are investigating the vandalizing of Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Det. Meghan Aguilar says investigators were called to the scene before dawn Wednesday following reports that the presidential candidate's star was destroyed by blows from a hammer.
A man who identified himself as Jamie Otis says he's responsible for the damage. Otis tells Deadline Hollywood (http://bit.ly/2dK4kON) that he originally intended to remove Trump's star. He says he wanted to auction it off to raise funds for the 11 women accusing the presidential candidate of groping them. Trump has denied the groping allegations.

Erin Brockovich gets political: 'We have a national water crisis' that no one is acknowledging
![]() |
Erin Brockovich |
Los Angeles (CNN)The 2016 presidential race between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump has become a substance-free fight between "two teenagers" who don't like each other, according to environmentalist Erin Brockovich, who told CNN that she has not decided whether she will be casting a ballot November 8.
"I don't know what we're resolving. There's a lot of name-calling and accusations and innuendos," Brockovich said. "We're watching a campaign and I feel like I'm watching some reality show of two teenagers in high school who don't get along."
The famed consumer advocate and environmental activist lamented the state of American politics and called out the Republican and the Democratic parties for failing to recognize that "we have a national water crisis."

Rigging The Election! New Email Confirms Team Hillary Rigs Public Polls Through “Oversampling”
By Kosar, Oct. 24, 2016, The Political Insider
When the media tells us there’s no such thing as “rigging” in the 2016 elections, they are lying.
Now, newly leaked emails from John Podesta’s hacked email count shows how Hillary’s team worked closely with pollsters to ensure public polling data was rigged in her favor, no matter what the outcome was.
The messages include requests for the results to be “adjusted” to “manufacture” the outcome they would like. The phrase they used, was rigging the polls to “maximize what we get out of our media polling.”
This is how you rig an election!
