By Sandy Fitzgerald, Jun. 11, 2015, Newsmax

Republican presidential candidate, George Pataki, canceled his New Hampshire campaign events after his son-in-law, Dr. David Levy, suffered a stroke this week.

The former New York governor's campaign said Levy and Pataki's daughter, Allison, were on a flight from Chicago to Seattle on Tuesday for a vacation before the birth of the couple's first child when he suffered the life-threatening stroke, reports The New York Times.

Their plane was diverted to Fargo, North Dakota, where Levy has been in intensive care, according to a statement from the Pataki campaign. Levy was transported to Chicago on Thursday and remains in intensive care at Rush University Medical Center.
